Before you write about a download problem

Most install failures come down to a handful of causes, and the answer is usually already on the guide page. Check these first, because it will be faster than waiting for a reply:

• The Play Store version is still installed. Android will not replace a differently signed package, and the error it shows does not explain that
• There is not enough free storage. The installer needs working space it cannot reserve ahead of time, so it fails at the point it runs out
• The screen locked during installation, which interrupts the process
• The device is running Android 6.0 or older, which the package will not install on at all

If none of those apply, email us with your device model, Android version and the exact wording of the error. Without those three we cannot tell you anything useful.
